The Club Waterpolo Anglès was founded by a group of swimmers on 20th of december of 1996. In its first year like a federated club, It got its first objective, was to play in la "Copa Catalunya De Waterpolo", It was a difficult year and we obtained two important victories for the aspirations of the team.

Parallel to the team of waterpolo, we form a team of swimming, which debuted during the summer in the " Challenge David Moner".

The Club continued his evolution, as a sportive level as like a structrural level.

This season Club Waterpolo Anglès has participated in three leagues of waterpolo:

• Campionat d'Espanya de 2a Divisió - Zona Catalunya (Absolut)
• Campionat Nacional de Catalunya - 1a Categoria (Absolut)
• Campionat Nacional de Catalunya (Cadet)

And these leagues of swimming:

• Benjamin and Prebenjamin league
• Alevin league
• Infantil, Junior and Absolute league
• Challenge David Moner

The immediat projects are: we want to continue the ascendent progression of all the teams (waterpolo and swimming), and consolidate master team.
